J-HE! DROPS INTROSPECTIVE NEW SINGLE “HEY, I’VE BEEN THINKING” THIS FRIDAY
BOSTON, MA – May 20, 2025 – Rising alternative rock artist J-HE! (pronounced “Jay-High”) is set to release her highly anticipated new single “Hey, I’ve Been Thinking” this Friday, May 23, 2025, across all major streaming platforms. The contemplative track showcases J-HE!’s signature blend of dreamy melodies wrapped in pop-rock production while exploring themes of romantic obsession, self-worth, and the struggle to break free from unhealthy attachments.
“Hey, I’ve Been Thinking” continues J-HE!’s evolution as an independent artist creating emotionally resonant music. Produced by Los Angeles-based producer DeRock and recorded in her bedroom studio, the single delivers sharp-edged pop with raw rock power that fans have come to love while pushing new boundaries.
“This song came from a really authentic place,” says J-HE!. “It’s about those moments when you’re caught in a cycle with someone who doesn’t value you properly, but you can’t seem to break free from their orbit. I hope listeners who’ve experienced similar situations find something of themselves in it.”
A music video for “Hey, I’ve Been Thinking,” self-directed and edited by J-HE!, will follow the single release. Shot in her apartment, the visually striking video complements the song’s introspective nature while adding new layers to the narrative.
The release comes as J-HE! prepares for her upcoming album “Stars in My Constellation” and another single release titled “Don’t Touch,” building on momentum from her previous singles like “Just Fine” and “Ended Up in Hell” which have connected deeply with audiences navigating mental health challenges and personal transformation.
“Hey, I’ve Been Thinking” will be available on all major streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and YouTube on Friday, May 23, 2025.
